I was horrified to find no Al Jazeera news on this morning, only an out of date programme about gadgets and a sickeningly sweet promo for a Christian park in America named 'Zion'. Yuck. Give me more quality international news such as Al Jazeera not less.

We had a major power cut on Monday which affected daytime programmes. The French News was interrupted by it and other programmes ran late or were replaced. We try to get it right every time but that is not always possible.

I was not referring to the french news content, only what happened before and after - also to other national news programmes. The french news was cut off the other day in mid flow by the next national news, with ten minutes still to run, for example. Stand back and take an objective look at the way some of your programmes and the ads around them are presented. There is no point in discussing the subject further as you are not about to admit you are anything but professional. I don't mind that but do try to improve, please.

The French News is recorded and broadcast as it is produced by TV5. We do not post-produce items or breaks.

I have been watching the french news channel for some time as part of my studies. The quality of presentation of this and other international news has deteriorated badly over the past months, leaving viewers swamped with intrusive 'smash, break, bust' style advertising inputs, seemingly at random, 'never mind the programme' with no fade in or out. We understand there must be sponsors but surely not at the complete cost of programme standards. We viewers, and yes, you do actually need us for your ratings, would be much happier if we could watch professionally produced programmes instead of the amateur attempts we have suffered over the last few months.

I watched Euovision on Triangle (UHF Auckland) and the sound quality was TERRIBLE for the final. Semifinal 1 and 2 were fine. Hope this doesn't happen next year!!!!!

Anyone watching the Eurovision song contest? Is this a joke? Have they recorded it using someone's mobile phone? I've never seen or heard such bad quality TV!!!!!

His interview with the Iwi representative tonight was punctuated by his mocking laughter that accompanied most of his questions. He is either displaying his disdain or is past it. Time for a new host I think.
